As a map, Pavlov is well suited to many different types of play. With its tall buildings and open spaces, snipers and rifles can dominate and hold off attacks from the outside with long-ranged fire. On the other hand, the closed, cramped quarters inside each building complex lends itself to fierce sub-machine gun and support gun battles. The main goal should be to fix the enemy's riflers and snipers in place while sending sub-machine and support gunner troops down to clear the building the enemy is spawning in. The map can be roughly divided into four sectors: sgt. Pavlov's House, next to the Pavlov House is his mirror copy - Lt. Zabolotniy's House, the Gergard's Mill, and the Offices and Outer Wall. Penzenskaia Street constitutes the open ground between each sector, which is dangerous to traverse.

Карта представляет собой улицу Пензенскую и площадь Ленина, в центре которой находится дом Павлова, окружённый другими зданиями - домом лейтенанта Заболотного, Госмельнице № 4 (мельнице Гергардта-Грудинина) и офисом. Сам дом Павлова - четырёхэтажное здание с крышей и подвалом (в котором можно найти Панцерфауст, MP-44 и FG-42). Дом является стратегически важным объектом, так как с верхних этажей можно "снайперить" на любой конец карты. С подвала тянется траншея до мельницы, и это, пожалуй самый безопасный способ добраться до дома Павлова. На этой карте может понадобятся как снайперские винтовки, так и пистолеты-пулемёты, так как перестрелки зачастую перемещаются в здания. Центр карты - дом Павлова будет непросто захватить - многочисленные помещения внутри делают штурм непростым.
